During your first osteopathy treatment, you can expect a thorough consultation where your osteopath will ask about your medical history, lifestyle, and any specific concerns you may have. The practitioner will then perform a physical examination, assessing posture, movement, and areas of tension or discomfort. Based on this, they will develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include gentle manipulation, stretching, and soft tissue techniques aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and promoting overall wellness.
The treatment is non-invasive and you may feel some mild soreness afterwards, typically patients feel relief of tension or pain.
